73 Devon Street, Picton

OPEN HOME: Sun, 11 Oct 2:00pm - 2:30pm

Tucked away at the end of a quiet road, just before the landscape opens into Essons Valley, this Picton home feels a little bit like a secret you stumble upon rather than a property you simply arrive at. Set across three thoughtfully designed levels, it takes full advantage of its elevated position, soaking in wide mountainous and harbour views while remaining an easy walk from the heart of town. It is the kind of home that quietly unfolds as you move through it, revealing spaces that adapt to real life rather than demanding it fit a mould.

Inside, the layout is both clever and refreshingly practical. The lower level offers genuine flexibility with a bedroom, separate toilet, and a secondary living space that could just as easily be a home office, creative studio or hobbies room, complete with its own external access. A tucked away laundry and storage room keeps the everyday clutter out of sight, while a new heat pump ensures comfort year round. On the middle level, two further bedrooms include a master that opens via ranch slider to a north facing deck, an ideal spot to greet the morning. The bathroom arrangement is a standout, with the shower and toilet in their own separate spaces and the vanity and bath in another, a layout that simply works for busy households. A few steps up again brings you to the kitchen, living and dining area, where a conservatory extends the living space and a fireplace adds warmth and character.

Externally, the home continues to impress without demanding constant upkeep. The section is low maintenance, leaving weekends free to enjoy the surroundings rather than maintain them. An internal access garage and tandem off street parking provide practical ease, while the elevated position delivers sweeping 180 degree views across the rooftops to Mount Freeth and out over Picton Harbour. Whether it is morning light spilling across the deck or evening colours settling over the water, the outlook is a daily reminder of why this location is so special.

Solid, versatile and quietly confident, this is a home that suits a range of lifestyles. It works beautifully as a family home, offers strong appeal as an investment, and even holds potential for home and income thanks to its adaptable lower level. Private yet connected, peaceful yet close to town, this Picton property is one of those rare finds that feels considered, lived in and ready for its next chapter.
